Dear Library Board of Trustees,
Could you please have the representatives of "Left Lane" answer questions about how they
plan to handle the subsurface asbestos in the library ground? Asbestos will also be a concern
in the area off Wallace where they plan to consruct the hotel/condo structure. The asbestos
has been a huge problem in the mere posting of a traffic light and building side walks. If they
intend to remediate/remove the toxin, this procedure will add time and money to their
project. It is possible the site would be under construction for 3 or more years.
