As a long time Bozeman resident I am saddened and maddened by the proposed development by the library. This
development is exactly what is changing the character and wonderfulness of Bozeman.
It is time for ENOUGH! Enough fancy buildings that only attract and cater to the rich and part time visitors. Enough
construction that, in this case, impacts the library and the entire surrounding area. Our library is a jewel, used by
every strata of our society. Why would you even allow some developer to come in and help to change that
important and necessary part of our town. You would sacrifice the library for a hotel with a ballroom? Tell the
developers to build us a performing arts center!
ENOUGH catering to big money. We do not want to become, Aspen, Vail. Sun Valley.
I hope you think about the character of Bozeman and why we live here. The developers don’t have a clue.
