Silvestri - Library Board of Trustees Meeting on 11_15From:Kenneth Silvestri To:Agenda Subject:[EXTERNAL]Library Board of Trustees Meeting on 11/15 Date:Tuesday, November 14, 2023 10:13:33 PM CAUTION: This email originated from outside of the organization. Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the sender and know the content is safe. The Bozeman Public Library is one of the pillars of this community. To even consider selling publicly owned land to a developer to build a "shared" parking garage that benefits a for-profitentity is an extreme disregard for the public interest. Are Library users going to have to pay to park to use a free library and public resource just so some developer can build yet anotherhotel and high-end unaffordable luxury apartments? Furthermore, this would restrict future needs of the Library to expand and cause a disruption to the people who not only use theLibrary but also when connecting with the trails to Lindley park and Peet's Hill. Please respectfully reject this proposal by these out-of-state developers who are going to fundamentally alter our public resource and community space for their economic gain. Sincerely, Ken SilvestriBetter Bozeman Coalition
