The Bozeman Public Library is one of the pillars of this community. To even consider selling
publicly owned land to a developer to build a "shared" parking garage that benefits a for-profitentity is an extreme disregard for the public interest. Are Library users going to have to pay to
park to use a free library and public resource just so some developer can build yet anotherhotel and high-end unaffordable luxury apartments? Furthermore, this would restrict future
needs of the Library to expand and cause a disruption to the people who not only use theLibrary but also when connecting with the trails to Lindley park and Peet's Hill.
Please respectfully reject this proposal by these out-of-state developers who are going to
fundamentally alter our public resource and community space for their economic gain.
