Dear Library Trustees:
I'm in disbelief that there is a proposal to hand over public space at the library to a private
developer for a parking garage. Please vote no. This is a terrible proposal. The public library - including its surrounding space and intimate connection to Lindley Park - is a highly valued
public commodity that we should not surrender to private interests. This area of downtown isunique, widely used by thousands of local residents daily and visually stunning area that
preserves some of what's left of old Bozeman. The loss of this area to a towering parkinggarage and ultimately to private development would be a remarkable tragedy.
Vote no.
