Dear Bozeman Public Library Board of Trustees,
We writing in opposition to the preposed development by Left Lane that includes leasing of the public library
parking for $1 per year for 75 years with the option to renew for 75 years.
The library has nothing to gain here as written and has potential to loose public land, green space, trees, sunlight,
loose free parking for library clients and the ability to expand in the future.
This development does not serve our community and seems to serve only the investors with high end apartments and
need for parking for the hotel and residents.
It has also been brought forward that the land would need mitigation due to asbestos concentrations and may come
back to cost taxpayers?
We do not need more of this type of development in Bozeman benefiting outside investors and taking away a
community resource.
