Hello!
Thank you for allowing the public to comment on the proposal by Bozeman Hotel MM/LLC
and Left Lane Development to construct a Parking garage at the Bozeman Public Library.
As an avid Bozeman Public library user for the past 20 years I’ve been thrilled to see therecent changes and offerings the library has created for our community.
However, upon learning of the proposal for a private entity to lease out the library’s public
space to create a “shared use” parking structure my stomach dropped. I was appalled that aprivate entity has the nerve to ask this of our community.
I implore the board to deny this request. Please keep our library’s public-owned spaces as they
are; always available to serve the Bozeman community and Bozeman library patrons.
