Dear Trustees
Parking is an issue on the east end of town for many businesses and constituents. I am
interested in seeing proposals that maximize parking on City owned property for the east endneighborhoods, Not for a sole property owner.
As an architect, I can envision a design that would include a vertical parking structure for all
citizens of Bozeman venturing to the East end, that could be surrounded by public uses; forexample an outdoor amphitheater facing Lindley, expanded space for the library, and
integrated bike parking.
I welcome new development on the Empire building site, but do not support this project’ssingular effort to use COB public space for their private use while placing restrictions on the
Bozeman Public Library property.
Could talks include a bigger vision for the area? That address more than one property owner’sneeds??
