The creation of a MOU between Left Lane Development and the City Commission is an affront to voters, patrons
and staff of the Bozeman Public Library. A seven story luxury hotel and residence towering over our magnificent
library is a sorry message and speaks of profits only for the private equity fund located in New York City not for our
Bozeman public. I hope the Commission will reconsider its participation in an endeavor which does not take into
account the kind of city we are and the people who frequent the library. I expect that the Commission, all four
members and the mayor, will contact every citizen of Bozeman to get their opinion regarding this proposal. This
seems not to have been done.
