Dear City Commissioners, RE: Ordinance 2149 #1- This ordinance should not apply to Business Zones. STRs are a
business. Allowing Hotels/Motels as an approved use in zones B-2, B-2M, B-3, UMU, REMU and NEHMU and not
STRs is discriminatory. It is a taking of property rights to those who invested in the more expensive Business zoned
properties expecting to run a business. #2- The City’s own research shows that the impact to affordable housing will
be negligible, it will create real hardship for owners who depend on the income to afford their homes and the
majority of comments submitted on this subject are against this Ordinance. Please Vote NO on the current version
