Hi, Scarlett,
Thank you for your lovely note. I am sharing your email with our Library Board Chair so that he can
send to the entire Board. I am also sharing it with our City Clerk’s office as part of the public
comments on the proposal.
Thanks so much!
Susan

Scarlett Nave Ramirez Pearson
818 South Black Ave
Bozeman MT 59715 Dear Bozeman Library Board of Trustees,
My name is Scarlett. I am 10 years old and a 5th grader at Longfellow Elementary.
I care about the proposal from Left Lane Development because if the proposed parking structure were to
be built then I would not be able to calmly and easily bike or walk to the library. Personally, I am a hugefan of books and reading. I believe that when you are reading, quietness helps to transport you toanother world and that books are dimensional portals to peace.
I recommend that you say no to the proposal because if the parking garage is built then the library will not
be able to expand and have new activities or books for the kids of Bozeman. I have grown up in the
library and I feel a strong connection and the need to protect it so others may experience the same
connection that I have.
Thank you for reading my letter.
Sincerely,
Scarlett Nave Ramirez Pearson
