Dear City Commissioners and Library Board Members,I was astounded to read about Left Lane Development's proposal to use significant public
open space AT ALL, and especially in exchange for so little, if I read the details correctly. For instance:
The 'shared' rooftop access: if accompanied by a library employee. !!!!!!! The parking spaces: what is available, with the hotel's guests and residents having priority.
Maybe the part-time residents will store their car/s there, for all we know, tying up space. Once we give this away, it is gone forever.
I imagine that the Library Board and Commissioners may well have some jaw-drop about thisproposal. I am simply echoing what many of us may all be thinking about this, in order to
bolster a resounding NO to this insulting proposal. Thank you all for your service to the community,
