COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2995
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,
MONTANA, AMENDING THE TIME SET FOR PUBLIC HEARINGS ON THE
CITY-WIDE STREET MAINTENANCE DISTRICT AND THE CITY-WIDE TREE
MAINTENANCE DISTRICT, AS SET FORTH IN COMMISSION RESOLUTION
NOS. 2988 AND 2989.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Bozeman did, on the 18th day of
July 1994, adopt Commission Resolution No. 2988, levying and assessing the special
assessment for Fiscal Year 1995 for the city-wide street maintenance district; and
Commission Resolution No. 2989, levying and assessing the special assessment for Fiscal
Year 1995 for the city-wide tree maintenance district; and
WHEREAS, Commission Resolution Nos. 2988 and 2989 set the public hearings for
the levying and assessing of special assessments for the city-wide street maintenance
district and the city-wide tree maintenance district, respectively, for 7:00 p.m. on Monday
Augu~ 1, 1994; and
WHEREAS, no public inquiries to the Clerk of the Commission resulted from the
notices published in the July 20, 1994 edition of the Bozeman Daily Chronicle regarding the
special assessments for the city-wide street maintenance district and city-wide tree
maintenance district; and
WHEREAS, the scheduled public hearings were inadvertently omitted on the agenda
for the City Commission's August 1, 1994 meeting; and
WHEREAS, it appeared no one was in attendance at the meeting to speak in support
of or in opposition to the special assessments for the city-wide street maintenance district
or the city~wide tree maintenance district; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to reschedule the public hearings, to allow the public to
address the Commission regarding the special assessments for the city-wide street
maintenance district and the city-wide tree maintenance district.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of
Bozeman, Montana:
Section 1
That the public hearing on the assessments for the city-wide street maintenance
district, as set in Commission Resolution No. 2988, and the public hearing on the
assessments for the city-wide tree maintenance district, as set forth in Commission
Resolution No. 2989, are hereby rescheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 22, 1994,
in the Commission Room in the City Hall, 411 East Main Street, Bozeman, Montana.
Section 2
That, for the particulars on the assessments to be levied and assessed for the city-
wide street maintenance district, reference is hereby made to Commission Resolution No.
2988, and for the particulars on the assessments to be levied and assessed for the city-wide
tree maintenance district, reference is hereby made to Commission Resolution No. 2989.
Section 3
That the Clerk of the Commission of the City of Bozeman is hereby ordered and
directed to republish in the Bozeman Daily Chronicle the notices pertaining to Commission
Resolution Nos. 2988 and 2989 with the rescheduled public hearing date and time.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana,
at a regular session thereof held on the 8th day of August 1994.

NOTICE
HEARING ON FINAL ADOPTION OF COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2988
LEVYING A SPECIAL ASSESSMENT TO DEFRAY THE COST OF THE
MAINTENANCE OF STREETS, ALLEYS AND PUBLIC PLACES LOCATED
WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR 1995 AGAINST PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF BOZEMAN.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that at a regular session of the Commission of the City
of Bozeman held on the 18th day of July 1994, Commission Resolution No. 2988 was
provisionally passed and adopted; that said Resolution levies and assesses a special
assessment against each lot and parcel in the city to defray the cost of maintaining streets,
alleys and public places within the corporate limits of the City of Bozeman for the Fiscal Year
1995. Said resolution contains a list describing each lot and parcel and the amount levied
thereon.
That said Commission Resolution No. 2988 is now on file in the office of the Clerk
of the Commission of the City of Bozeman, subject to inspection of all persons interested,
for a period of ten (10) days; that Monday, the 22nd of August 1994, at 7:00 p.m. of said
day at a regular session of the Commission of the City of Bozeman, in the Commission
Room, in the City Hall Building, has been designated as the time and place when and where
said Commission will hear and pass upon any and all objections that may be made to the
final passage and adoption of said Commission Resolution No. 2988 and the levying of said
assessment; and that said Resolution will be finally passed and adopted at said regular
session of said Commission, subject to such corrections and amendments that may be made
upon objections made and filed with the Clerk of the Commission within ten (10) days limit
as provided by law.
