Members of the Commission:
We,the undersigned, are residents of The Springs at the corner of Catron and 27th Streets in Bozeman.
We often observe accidents and many near misses at our corner.This is a busy intersection, being close
to Costco,Target,the school bus garage, and many apartments.A four-way stop is sorely needed. Many
of us are often out walking and are concerned for the safety of pedestrians and vehicles alike at this
corner.
This problem will only get worse as more apartments are built in the area and when Medical Eye
Specialists opens their new facility on 27thStreet in 2024.Your placement of two stop signs on 27th at
Catron would be a very cost-effective measure to prevent many accidents, injuries, and possible deaths.
