I'm exhausted and defeated by the public comment process. There's got to be a better way. What Home Base told us early on has changed so much. they used the "workforce housing" to push everything through and now only 8 units are actually affordable?? That seems like fraud on their part. Legends neighbors have given up on this process, what I've heard is "the city doesn't car, they'll do what they want, public comment is a box to check. They are all about the most development possible." but I'm sending an email anyway, in hopes that you will hear it and consider it. Home base ignored and the city didn't enforce 38.410.010 Natural environment. There were so many trees on that lot, now its bulldozed flat. not a shred remaining - was there a fine? Truman flats should not be higher density than originally proposed. The whole development is out of scale with the neighborhood. it's like packed in downtown housing surrounded by R1. its going to look like a weird insert - not to mention block views of the bridgers, spanish peaks, story hills for everyone. They already are not putting in the required green space, please don't make it any tighter! the traffic and infrastructure probably can't handle it anyway, please don't approve more density. Best wishes, Sarah Annarella
