Delegation of Certain Signatory Authority to the Director of Finance
The City Manager hereby delegates signatory authority to the Director of Finance,on behalf of the City of
Bozeman, for the acceptance of federal and other grants, financial reporting for federal and other grants,
and other financial reporting and finance-related tasks requiring a signature. The Director of Finance is
authorized to execute all necessary documents,agreements,and reports related to such grants and financial
matters, ensuring their compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. This delegation of signatory
authority is made to streamline and expedite the City's financial operations, and the Director of Finance
shall exercise this authority in accordance with the City's policies and procedures, including ensuring any
authorization required by the City Commission. The City Manager or designated authority reserves the
right to monitor the Director of Finance's performance and exercise oversight to ensure that all delegated
responsibilities are carried out effectively and in accordance with the City's best interests.
Pursuant to my authority as City Manager,I hereby adopt this Administrative Order 2023-04.
