In no way do I support the Urban Camping Ordinance as a Consent item in the upcoming commission meeting. As a
community member it is very disappointing to see that our city is going the direction of so many other cities by not
taking definitive action to provide safety, cleanliness and order to our wonderful city. If the people choosing to park
their vehicles long term actually need housing or are looking for help that's one thing which I do not see happening,
rather they are taking advantage of non-enforcement to allow them to do whatever they want. Making the
enforcement a hand slap is only going to exacerbate the problem. The current parking policy should be enforced
and will help control the problem. Vote down Ordinance 2147
