Please vote no on ordinances 2149.
Banning short term rentals in Bozeman won't fix any housing issues. It will favor big corporations over local business
owners. If people can't afford to live here, then move to a more affordable city! It is a privilege to live here - NOT A
RIGHT. Work harder - make more money - Don't harm those who have worked SO hard to be able to make Bozeman
their home. I was born and raised here and I have had to fight SO HARD to be able to stay here, and I would never
want a hand out or ask that others sacrifice in order to "let" me stay here. I am proud to be a Bozeman homeowner
but how can this city punish the hardworking tax paying land-owning citizens in favor of transplants or low income
renters? The math and logic doesn't add up. People LOVE STR's over hotels and they are so good for the local
economy. 2149 would create an unreasonable burden on property owners in exchange for a very minimal public
policy impact.
