As an owner of a condo unit in Four Corners, I am concerned about the potential Ordinance 2149, that would eliminate short-term rentals. Of course, it serves as our home when we visit our sons in Bozeman and Missoula, and being able to rent itout when we are not there makes this opportunity attainable for us. But also, ourhome provides a place for individuals and families to come and enjoy the area, adding to Bozeman's economy; including the shopping, arts, skiing, restaurants and venues offered in that wonderful city. In theory, this is a plan to provide affordable housing, but ultimately this is a plan that would assist corporate entities who are pushing their real estate or hospitality endeavors, and rental units stand in their way. Quelling the livelihood of some inorder to allow others to have their way goes against free enterprise and thecapitalism our country was founded on and proudly holds as a value. If Ordinance 2149 goes into effect, we will sell our property, but the market is at a price that would not classify as "affordable housing," so that point is null and void. Iam sure that this is true of nearly all others who would be forced to sell. Please carefully consider the consequences of allowing Ordinance 2149. Please vote NO. Respectfully, Lori Witmer
