Bozeman City Commission Members:
We are writing to ask you to vote No on Ordinance 2149. STRs are a
valuable property right that many of us have in order to support ourretirement. They are valuable as part of our important tourism economy &
in no way will be any part of a solution for the lack of affordable housing.
Of the STR owners that I know, not one will have those units become
affordable housing & most of them cannot do so due to their ownmortgages. Banning STRs have no place in an affordable housing solution.
