My name is Julia Kern and I live at 3817 Laduke Street, Bozeman,
I have a Type 3 - grandfathered STR.
I moved to Bozeman in 2003 and have raised my 3 children here. Ben is 27 and is at MSU
getting his Masters in Counseling. He was a program manager at Big Sky YouthEmpowerment.
He is engaged and wants to remain in Bozeman. Will is 23 and Emily is 20 and are gettingtheir
Bachelors at MSU. They also want to remain in Bozeman when they graduate.
My mother died suddenly and with my inheritance I was able to buy a second townhouseon 15th Ave. This is my STR that is my full time job and helps to support me along with my
second job. I bought it in 2016 and then the zoning changed.
I manage my STR and do all the cleaning. I have wonderful reviews and really enjoy meetingmy guests. My kids also help with the management and projects inside and outside of the
townhouse. This property is our future.
My STR is how I decided to invest the money I received.
Please don't ban STR's.
