PLEASE DO NOT BAN 2nd HOME AIRBNBs! I am writing to strongly oppose banning Airbnbs from 2nd home listings. I
have been a resident of Bozeman since 1990 and have elderly parents and two adult children who live here also.
After my divorce 4 years ago I invested in a small home in Bozeman in order to support myself on my own after my
30 year marriaged ended. Without the supplemental income from my Airbnb there is no way I can afford the home
and will undoubtedly have to sell it. My daughter lives in the front house and rents it long term. I spent over $100k
to remodel the old garage into an Airbnb. With a ban there is no way for me to recoup that money. I love Bozeman
and have called it home for over 30 years. By banning 2nd home Airbnbs you are hurting locals who are working
hard to afford to live and work here! We are helping to support and grow the Bozeman economy and we provide
valuable services to those visiting and enjoying Bozeman. PLEASE DO NOT BAN 2nd HOME AIRBNBs!
