Dear City Commissioners,
I understand Bozeman's need for more affordable housing. Yet banning all STRs will not
solve the problem. STRs have a place in Bozeman's economy as outlined in the Short TermRental Assessment from August 2023.
I believe the city should at a minimum honor the grandfathered STRs from 2017 and also
grandfather in all existing legally permitted STRs, but ban the illegal STRs which faroutnumber the permitted ones.
