*Ordinance 2149* I have had a (type 3)vacation rental on Mae Street for about 8 years. I have always been
compliant & never had complaints. There are many benefits to the owner, to city services, and to other neighbors.
BRIEFLY: 1-Owner benefit is that I have a rental that is used about half the time as a long-term rental & has
significantly less wear & tear. 2-City services are used only about 1/2 time even though I am paying the full tax
amount. 3-The neighborhood has MUCH LESS of an impact from traffic, noise, (no)over-crowding of people into the
unit AND most significantly - much reduced parking problems as most guests have only 1 car & my tenants use this
space when I have no guests. I have rentals in the valley & I have been able to keep my other rents MUCH lower
than market rate because of the income generated by the vacation unit. That can NOT continue if 2149 passes. This
