Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the sender and know the content is safe. Dear Commissioners and appropriate Staff, You set the rules for STR's in 2017. And many of us played by the rules and counted on the income. It’s true - a lot of new STR's that popped up after Covid broke the rules … especially when the rules were not enforced! You have finally enforced them but have not given adequate time to see how effective it is ingetting the cheaters out. And now you want to punish the people that played by your rules and depend on the income to survive and keep their primary home? I believe that could be unconstitutional and the City might end up reimbursing lost revenue tohome owners for many years to come. Please grandfather anyone current STR’s that are in compliance and let them keep the same percentage of days allowed and the type of STR that they are currently registered for or waitfor your previous ordinance to work.
