I recently visited Bozeman for parents weekend & stayed in a short term rental (STR). It was important to me to
have a place we could cook dinner & do laundry. Also having extra bedroom & space to hangout. Not a hotel room. I
understand that too many STR’s are tough on neighborhoods & affordable housing. Instead of 30 day stays please
consider compromise. The currently licensed STR be giving two years before this takes effect. Thus giving them time
to sell if needed. Also sharply limit any new STR licenses to only owner occupied & primary residences. No more
than 1 STR license per persons/LLC in Gallatin County. Compromised growth. Thank you,
