I am writing in total opposition of your proposed Ordinance 2149.
We purchased our small home in pre-Covid times to visit our Bozeman grandchildren and to
ski your beautiful mountains in the winter. We eventually turned to the STR system to help usafford the property.
It is perplexing to attempt to understand how the loss of income from our renters will benefit
your restaurants and shops, or, for that matter, how the proposed Ordinance will allow ourhome to become a part of an affordable housing solution. Be assured, when we are forced to
sell our property due to the obliteration of STRs, Type 3, the sale will not be for an"affordable price."
