The City is moving much too quickly on creating far-reaching zoning modifications which wouldseriously impact older, core residential neighborhoods within the City. Of particular concern is the radical proposed zoning change from R1, R2, R3 and R4 to RA. Iurge the city to slow the process of review and discussion of the Development Code so asto keep our older neighborhoods much more intact and harmonious with small city living, and to allow for more time for public participation and input. The proposed density changes are of serious concern, especially considering the City, atpresent, cannot and does not adequately address important issues such as: parkingsnow removal traffic control and enforcement Additionally, the UDC does not adequately address affordable housing issues. Further, I do not believe the UDC is in harmony with the recently adopted MasterPlan/Growth Policy. I would like city staff to identify the consulting firm that developed this document, as well aswhat the firm was paid. Thank you for your serious consideration of this matter.
