Greetings,
Please consider this letter while you are able, I am writing to beg you to pump the breaks on
these big changes with the UDC. I moved to Bozeman in 1992, I became a homeowner in 1998 and an employer in the Galatin
Valley in 1999. Housing and development has changed in the last 30 years, the rate of changehas rocketed in the last 10 years. In my opinion the change has NOT been in the best interest
of Bozeman and its residents who live and work in the valley year around.
The proposed UDC changes are, in my eyes, a golden opportunity for the developers, not themajority of Bozeman residents.
Please slow down, table these proposed UDC changes, listen to the residents of Bozeman.
Listen to the community, the folks who live here, who have strong ties to neighborhoods theylive in, who care about Bozeman.
Unlimited development in existing neighborhoods will change the character of our town
forever. I strongly believe that these changes will actually drive property values even higherand rents along with them. These proposed changes could actually make the cost of housing
higher and permanently scar this town.
Please slow down, listen to the people.
Thank you. Sincerely
Nels curnow 222 S 13th
