I think this decision is being rushed too quickly without enough public input to it. We, the community, have had the opportunity to addcomments, but it hasn’t been enough. While the committee has had ages to plan the new UDC with developers, advisors, and consultants across the table with weeks of back and forthdialog, we the community get to share a thought to the committee that sits behind a distant desk with a guard rail, pulpit, microphone, and three minute timer limiting our input - all thislacking the ability to have back and forth dialog. This simply isn’t enough for us, the people you serve. I’m proud of our town and the people that run it, and I know a lot of work has goneinto planning this far, and I understand the pain it would be to the people that have worked so far to get us to this point, to delay their efforts further. But the pain of the community theyserve would be far greater if we rushed this process prematurely. We are asking you to extend this process so we have greater input to work together to find the right solution here. Of manyissues involved that are insufficient in the proposed UDC, we need to ensure that the infill we creat WILL address the housing crisis in this community, specifically adding low incomehousing. Nothing I’ve see ensures this, and developers WILL create luxury housing opportunity left to their own. Please listen to your community. Thank you. Marko Pujic 419 N 5th Ave
