Good morning,
Coral Construction crews will be installing high-tension cable rail in the median of
Interstate 90 (I 90) between Bozeman and the Bear Canyon Exit on Tuesday,
October 17, from midnight to noon.
The left lanes closest to the median on both sides of I 90 will be closed where work is
underway.
Once finished, high-tension median cable rail installation on I 90 in the Bozeman area
will be complete!
Next week, crews will also begin seeding and cleaning up the project area between
Three Forks and the Bear Canyon Exit. Work will occur Tuesday, October 17, throughSaturday, October 21, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Brief single-lane closures may be
required where work is underway. Please slow down, follow traffic control, and watch for workers and equipment
throughout the project area. Drivers should anticipate single-lane traffic, reduced
speeds, and minor travel delays.
Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns. Email me directly

Slow Down, Montana! Safe, Cautious Driving Saves Lives
Speeding and other reckless driving behaviors create unsafe conditions for you and
others traveling Montana’s roads. Even if you are abiding by posted speed limits, you
can still be traveling too fast for safety – particularly in inclement weather, low/no light
conditions, or around emergency response or work zone sites. One simple and
effective way to protect all roadway users is to lower your speed when driving a motor
vehicle. In the event of a crash, the higher the speed of the vehicle(s) involved, the
more deadly the collision – especially when a vulnerable roadway user is involved
(pedestrian, bicyclist, motorcyclist, etc.). While driving a motor vehicle, remember toalways follow posted speed limits, adjusting your speed as needed for current
conditions, and keep your focus on the road ahead and the task of driving to help
ensure we all reach our destinations safely. To learn more about safe driving
behaviors and how you can help Montana reach the goal of Vision Zero, visit https://www.mdt.mt.gov/visionzero/people/.
