The accessory use for home based business should be allowed to be in an approved accessorystructure. If an accessory structure is used, it must comply with a fire inspection (similar to
how a current approval for a business license works). Removing the accessory use all togetherputs a strain on a live work situation that is extremely popular right now with remote work still
occurring in the city. It would also give residents a chance to fix up a failing building, orreplace it with this new possible option of use allowing for more flexibility in using one's
home. Please reconsider this language.
