Hi, I am asking you to please vote NO on Ordinance 2149. As a host and a traveler myself I seek out homes that are
not a shared accommodation or on the same property as the owner. I know I am not alone as people like their
privacy and are often uncomfortable sharing a space or being “monitored”. When traveling with our family we have
had so many wonderful experiences staying all together in short term rentals. As a host since 2018 I have had
extremely positive experiences with guests. They have been 99.9 percent respectful and good people who I would
have back again over and over and the one negative experience I was able to take care of right away. I personally
take pride in and manage my STR myself and find joy in recommending local restaurants and experiences for guests
who love to walk downtown and shop and who support our local economy.
Please consider the impact you will have on our travelers, economy, and income of local residents who own and
operate a STR before you vote. Please vote No on this ordinance.
