This letter is regarding the UDC/RB DESIGNATION IN ORDINANCE, 2151
We need to honor the prominent role that established neighborhoods play in Bozeman‘s identity. These
neighborhoods are comprised of R1,R2,R3 and R4 zones. All are equally important.
Our stable neighborhood, which is currently zoned R4 is a vibrant stable neighborhood comprising, well-kept homes
that would be severely impacted by turning this neighborhood into an RB zone. Please DO NOT change our R4
designation into RB. We, on the north side of Peach Street, are not a sacrificial zone.
This radical proposed zoning change to RA and RB needs to be stopped in its tracks.
Speaking for countless existing homeowners, the voice of reason tells us to nurture the existing zoning safeguards
that have been in place for decades.
This proposed radical zoning change is based on data that is lacking the proper analysis of economic, social, and
environmental factors that will destroy our neighborhoods. We have the responsibility to do better for our beloved
Bozeman.
I urge you to slow down, scrap this plan, and start over .
