Thefindings and recommendations presented in theresultant report will be consulted for building pad &foundation preparation requirements and pavementdesign.Subsurface soil conditions generally consisted of up toseven feet of surficial lean clay overlaying nativegravels that extend to a depth of at least 15.9 feet (thelimits of investigation). Groundwater was notencountered in any of the soil borings. While seasonalhigher groundwater may exist at different times of theyear, the absence of observed ground water andabundance of gravels support an infiltration strategy forstormwater management, where advantageous andappropriate. The report also identifies opportunities forreusing existing pavement surface and base materialswhere parking lots are being re-constructed.
