As a resident in Northeast Bozeman, I couldn't be more upset and disappointed with the plan
to consolidate our beautiful neighborhood to include higher density housing, but this isentirely in line with the Canyon Gate Project that we opposed and got ram-rodded into our
neighborhood with disregard for the overwhelming opposition to the project.
We paid a premium to live in this area of town and have our family grow up in an area that issafe, clean and neighborly, and now the commission wants to take that away from us. To
allow 8 unit apartments to pop up on either side of our home would completely alter ourneighborhood into an urban landscape with all the problems that. Furthermore, our
infrastructure cannot even handle this half-hatched idea.
Simply put, a vote to approve the consolidation of low density housing will be a vote to booteveryone off the commission when they come up for reelection from myself and my wife.
