Dear Bozeman City Commissioners, I am writing to ask that you oppose the re-drawing of the city zoning codes. These proposed changes will impact our historic, older neighborhoods and degrade the quality of life for myself, and my neighbors. Not only impacting the quality of life, but impact parking, which is surely needed if the increase of dwelling units is allowed. You have seen, or I hope you have, the impact of the current development on the north side of Main St. with regards to driving down narrow streets that allow parking on one or both sides. Increasing the units allowed in our older neighborhoods, which this proposed zoning would allow, would negatively impact myself, and my neighborhood. The proposed zoning would not provide affordable housing, but only increase the luxury units, that people in our community desperately need. Thank you for your consideration, Beth MacFawn 605 N. Tracy Ave.
