I just saw this post on Nextdoor, and I would like to say that I think this should be public info.
Could you please disclose publicly!?
Dear Ms. Hess … We have 2 specific questions that I’m addressing to you in your official
capacity as CDC. We believe that these question are of interest to the many Bozeman citizens who are engaged in the City’s urgent rezoning proposal, and that the information is
important in helping citizens understand what’s going on. #1. Please tell us how much money the City has paid to the Code Studio (the company from Austin, Texas that the City
has contracted with to rewrite the zoning regulations) to date, and the amount of any future payments. Essentially we’re asking the total cost to the City for Code Studio’s services. #2.
I have been reading from several sources that the Federal Government has made grants and other money available to municipalities to incentivize rezoning single family
neighborhoods. Please delineate for us any and all such federal grants that the City has applied for, providing for each grant the title, date, amount, and the specifics of what
conditions the City must meet to be eligible. Please specify which of any of these grants the City has already received money, and the amount. Thank you, Glenn Monahan
