To the City of Bozeman leadership team, I truly hope the attached image wasn't filmed at the Veterans Memorial at tour city cemetery. If it was, it's very unethical in using the memory of fallen veterans as political PROPS. As an retired Army Lt.Colonel of 40 yrs service, (also served in MTARNG at Bozeman armory),American Legion/DAV member, I am deeply insulted that a political campaign would stoop to such behavior and I would suggest the City of Bozeman establish a policy or at least adisclaimer in such an ad that addresses this ethical issue. I would appreciate obtaining the contact information from the film permit and I can take thus up further with that candidate's team. Here in Great Falls, we have NEVER allowed politocal campaigning since the MontanaVeterans Memorial was founded in 2006, and the Memorial is an official MT and VA recognized Place of Honor that many of elected officials have spoken at from all parties. Please honor the Integrity of your memorials and don't let them become stained as politicalprops. Respectfully, Richard D. Liebert Lt.Colonel, USA, Retired Eden RR, Great Falls, MT 59405 4065909017 PS - if we don't enforce or insist on high moral standards, will we see candidates pitting theircampaign pins on VA headstones?
