Hi,
I'm actually appalled by the proposed changes. This will NOT provide more affordable
housing. Instead, it will incentivize some people to sell to luxury developers, thereby loweringthe quality of life for the neighbors, who will then want to sell and it will snowball from there.
Is this the Bozeman we want? Congested streets, vacant or half-used vacation homes?
Long time residents will again be punished. Taxes will increase (your single lot is now worth8!). There will be less sunlight for gardens, solar panels, and mental health. There will be even
more parking issues, congested winter roads, and bicycle/pedestrian fatalities.
How about, instead of this, the city develops the old K mart lot into truly affordable units? 7thavenue is primed for this type of development. Why ruin the entire character of Bozeman to
line Hollaran's and others pockets?
