Yes, duplexes and ADUs should be allowed in all residential areas, including those that currently have restrictive covenants. However, our downtown core and adjacent neighborhoods like Midtown do not have the water and sewer infrastructure to support the proposed density, and the streets are too narrow for theamount of vehicle and bicycle traffic they currently carry. Instead of sacrificing our lovely treelined and relatively quiet residential neighborhoods to the development of high-rise condominium complexes and hotels, please focus on increasingdensity in areas bordering major thoroughfares and in creating nodes where people can shop and work. Let’s not turn Downtown and Midtown into a dystopian treeless and soullesshellscape. Thank you, TF Greenwood N. 10th Ave Sent from Yahoo Mail for iPhone
