Good Morning Commissioners
I have a couple suggestions I would like to put before the board…
1. Why can’t there be a parking pass for campers..??
2. Why are they not “required” to have campers registered.?
3. Why is there no required amount of space that campers need to be moved..?
4. Why don’t campers have to have a permit to park in city limits.? You have them 30 days make them acquire a
monthly permit
5. Why would you have the fine go down per infraction instead up up..??
6. What’s preventing people from breaking the law.???
If someone could answer these questions I would appreciate it tremendously.
I also have a statement I would like to share with you…
I understand some people fall on hard times but allowing people the right to live free on the streets with no
consequences to their actions is just plain a slap in the face to those of us who pay our bills and our taxes-your
wages… My tax bill went up tremendously and to see that those who camp can do so free, and have trash provided
porta-johns provided street sweepers and snow removal all paid for by the tax payer. They were all mostly claiming
to have jobs and trying their best so they should at the least afford a permit which would help the city regulate who
has been in one place and for how long also help to pay for the trash they discard the clean up that the city has to do
just small things to make them accountable for the choices they’ve made in their lives. I can guarantee if I didn’t
pay my property taxes you would be on my door either collecting payment or taking my property so why are they
any different..?? If you at least use your seat at the table to keep things fair for all individuals in the county it would
go a very very long way with the people…
Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing back from someone regarding my questions
Have a great day!
