Hello
As a concerned community member, I was surprised to see a webpage on Bozeman.net that
states "Bozeman's Zoning Map is Changing". I was surprised because the public meetings andcomment time has not passed and yet you state that things have already been decided. If it is a
done deal, then why even have public comment? If it isn't, then don't state it that way.
The second reason I was surprised, is that there is nothing underneath the title "Bozeman'sZoning Map is Changing" that helps me understand why. I've read the "draft" and looked at
the "proposed" changes and I understand what you are considering, but I still don't understandwhy. Is this driven by the community members or just the developers and the consulting firm
from Texas who says it will work? Who will it work for? So far the only folks I can seebenefiting from this "proposed change" are developers and the people who buy their luxury
condos as 2nd, 3rd or 4th homes.
If you have information that proves this will help the members of the COMMUNITY, I wouldrecommend you make that information public, and obvious so the public doesn't think you are
only working for the developers
