I urge the city commission to vote NO on Ord. 2147. This ordinance criminalizes the very existence of our unhoused
neighbors in Bozeman. The increasing population of people who are poor and unhoused in Bozeman is directly
correlated to the housing crisis in Bozeman. Any ordinance the city commission passes should be aimed at
alleviating the housing crisis, not criminalizing those most vulnerable and pushing the problem elsewhere. Vote NO
on Ord. 2147 and prioritize real housing solutions.
