I am writing to speak out against Ordinance 2147 citing it’s anti-community efforts. As someone who lived out of
their car in the Gallatin Valley from 2016-2018, I have witnessed “urban camping” in Bozeman. The 5 day limitations
in this ordinance has the potential to create a hostility towards those who not only live in their vehicle but those
that own a camper parked on the street. Most parking in Bozeman is on-street. This is not a viable solution to a very
complex issue. Please reconsider.
