I am a license mental health therapist in town.I am against ordinance 2147. Professionally, I am concerned that this
law will traumatize and further stress an already vulnerable population.For the community members that decide to
stay this law will have the opposite effect as intended. 2147 will increase barriers to exit homelessness increasing
the % of chronic homelessness and substance abuse in this community.I urge this counsel to instead to lower
barriers through housing solutions/support.
