I am in strong opposition to the ordinance. This band-aid solution fails to address the systemic problem of
affordable housing, and instead further burdens our most vulnerable population, a population of workers that keep
this city running. Fining those who are unhoused will just continue to perpetuate their status of being unhoused.
The city of Bozeman has the opportunity to create a public housing authority to secure permanent, affordable and
safe and sanitary housing for our local workers
