Hello Commissioners,
My name is Kathryn Eklund and I am a partner with the Gallatin Forest Partnership. We are working
to secure permanent protections for the Gallatin and Madison ranges. Our proposal would protect
these ranges from development while maintaining access to recreation and protecting our key
watersheds. We are currently reaching out to community leaders who have a stake in the future of
the Gallatin and Madison ranges, and to that end, we would like to invite you on a sightseeing flight
around the ranges. This will allow you to see the landscapes we are working to protect from the air,
and to learn more about our efforts.
These flights are taking place the mornings of September 27th and 28th. On September 27th, flights
will be leaving from Livingston and on September 28th flights will be leaving from Bozeman. I would
love to have you, or your staff attend if available!
