Passing this anti-homelessness ordinance is disgraceful. With ever increasing rental prices and stagnant wages, we
cannot be punishing the victims of this housing crisis for the incompetence of our city council leaders. The fact that
we have a huge homelessness population for the first time ever in Gallatin Valley and all that is being talked about is
fining them even more is inhumane, disgraceful, and utterly unacceptable. City council needs to do their job rather
than use them as a scapegoat.
