I oppose Ord. 2147 because we cannot punish our way out of homelessness, we need to give
people a safe place to live or camp instead. Bozeman does not offer affordable places to liveand most of the homeless population in Bozeman are former residents who were booted out by
vacation rentals or large rent increases causing lifelong Montanans to move to their campers.Lifelong Montanans should not be punished due to these crazy rent incresements.
