I am in strong opposition to Ordinance 2147. Bozeman is in a significant housing crisis. We have a clear lack of
sanitary and safe housing. Targeting and harassing the unhoused will not change this, nor will it decrease the
unhoused population and the admitted strain that houselessness is putting on Bozeman and its residents. They need
the opportunity for safe housing, even if the first step is a public camping facility, though I am in favor of the current
petition for a Housing Authority.
